Daiken

Daiken Excel: Tone MR mineral fibre acoustic tiles are made from Mineral wool fibres and special
moisture-resistant binders.
New N.D.F, Constellation, Venus, Tranquil

The mineral fibres are uniformly interwoven by a unique wet-felting process to form rigid board and tiles that are non-combustible and fire-resistant. In addition, the board and tiles produced, are porous with low specific gravity and exhibit efficient thermal insulation and sound absorption qualities. They resist sound transmission more effectively than glass fibre products. Daiken mineral fibre acoustic tiles do not sag, due to their balanced strength, uniform product quality, good dimensional stability and special composition. The combination of all these features makes Daiken ceiling panels the ideal choice for high-quality ceilings in high-rise office blocks, airport buildings, hotels, hospitals, educational facilities, and shopping centres.

Outstanding Fire Resistance
Tiles are non-combustible and do not emit toxic gas or smoke, melt, break or become deformed under normal fire conditions, protecting ceiling areas from a fire.

Effective Thermal Insulation
Thermal insulation is more than six times that of the gypsum board. Room comfort is maintained with savings on cooling and heating costs.

Superior Sound Absorption
Superior sound absorption and insulation characteristics create a comfortable and quiet room environment.

10 Year Guarantee
Daiken Excel – Tone MR (Moisture Resistant) tiles have proved to be of superior quality. They are guaranteed for 10 years against visible sagging at temperatures up to 50° and 99% relative humidity. These tiles can even be used in rooms without air conditioning or in a high humidity environment.

Ceiling panels, are light are made from selected mineral wool fibres and special binders. The mineral wool fibres are uniformly interwoven by the unique wet-felting process to form Daiken tiles. Because the Daiken tiles have porous properties with a low specific gravity, they exhibit efficient thermal insulation and sound absorption qualities, while resisting sound transmission more effectively than glass fibre products, which are used to cover ceilings. Ceiling panels are mostly made from mineral fibre or wool and other materials and they come in a variety of designs, colours, thickness and sizes. They can be used for a variety of reasons some purely to cover ceilings but are also good for heat and sound insulation. CAPCO are distributors for a wide range of ceiling tile manufacturers as seen below.
